Dr. MAHESH SHANKARMAHESH ,

Dr. Mahesh N. Shankarmahesh, Ph.D. (Old Dominion) is a Fellow of the International Business Institute at the University of Missouri, St. Louis, USA. He is the 2004-05 recipient of the Anheuser-Busch Award in Teaching Excellence in the College of Business at UMSL. His major areas of interest include international buyer-seller negotiations, international strategic alliances, cross-cultural ethics, barriers to trade and marketing/finance interface issues.

Papers authored or co-authored by him have received 'best paper' awards in the AMS (Academy of Marketing Science) and the AMA (American Marketing Association) national conferences in  the United States.

DR. ALLAN BIRD
Honorary Dean

Dr. Allan Bird, Ph.D. (Oregon) is the Eiichi Shibusawa-Seigo Arai Professor of Japanese Studies and Professor of Management at the University of Missouri, St. Louis, USA. Dr. Bird's research activities have focused on issues relevant to managing in a global environment. He has worked on issues related to expatriates and the management of international assignments.

He has an established record of research on Japanese business and management, focusing on the careers and behaviours of Japanese executives. He is currently the Director of the International Business Institute and Chair of the Steering Committee of the Consortium for Undergraduate International Business Education - CUIBE. His publications have appeared in leading journals, including Academy of Management Journal, Strategic Management Journal and the Journal of International Business Studies. He speaks Japanese.

DR. SUMIT K. KUNDU
Honorary Director

Dr. Kundu is the Knight Ridder Research Professor of International Business, Professor, Faculty Director of the Executive MBA Program and Ph.D Coordinator at the Department of Management & International Business, College of Business Administration, Florida International University, USA. He is the recipient of several teaching awards namely, Best Professor in International MBA Program (2007), Best Professor award in Masters in International Business Program (2006), Outstanding Teacher in Executive MBA Program (2004).

Dr. Kundu was named Outstanding Graduate Teacher of the Year (2003), Teacher of the Year for Executive Masters in International Business Program (2003), and Teacher of the Year for the full-time MBA Program (2003) at Saint Louis University. His corporate experience includes Cash Flow Management and International Marketing for Unilever PLC, Fedders Lloyd PLC, and Phillips Petroleum PLC.

Dr. Y. LAKSHMAN KUMAR,

Dr. Y. Lakshman Kumar (YLK) is an M.com, M.B.A, E.M.C, P.G.C.M.C and Ph.D. (Brand Management). Dr. YLK has almost 20 years of experience in Sales Management, Brand Management, Marketing, Teaching, Academics, Examinations and Placements. He held several sales and marketing positions with MDPL and TTK Health Care during 1990 – 1998. Prof. YLK had the privilege of working with BIM –Trichy, for more than 7 years.

As a Placement Chairman, Prof. YLK improved the quality and quantity of companies at BIM during his tenure. His last assignment was with a startup business school at Chennai as Associate Dean for 2 years. YLK has published papers and cases in reputed journals and reviewed various Marketing Books. As a member of GSE team he has visited Philippines, Singapore and Malaysia to study best practices at various Business schools. He has also visited Canada for strategic tie- ups on invitation from CMC, Canada. He has conducted various Management Development Programs and more than 1,000 executives have been benefited out of these programs.

Dr. R. KARUPPASAMY,
Director (PGSBE Coimbatore)

Dr.R.KARUPPASAMY is an M.Com., MBA., (Finance) M.Phil and Ph.D. He is a Gold medal recipient in M.Com and currently pursuing ICWA (Inter). He has 4 years of industrial experience with Cipla Ltd as Training Manager. He also has 11 years of teaching experience with Thiagarajar College, Madurai and a few reputed colleges in Coimbatore.

He has held additional administrative positions of Deputy Controller of Examinations, Academic Director and Chairman for Curriculum Development Cell. He has presented 103 research papers, published 5 text books and 24 research articles in various referred national and international journals. He has organized 8 Faculty Development Programmes and Three National level Conferences. He has produced 6 M.Phil research scholars and currently 8 research scholars are pursuing Ph.D under his guidance. He is an Examination Board Member in  various autonomous colleges and some Universities in Tamil Nadu. His areas of specialization are Finance Education, Research, Publication and Faculty Training.
